CLS The Best Coupe Money Can Buy?

The main competition to the Mercedes Benz CLS Class is from the Audi A7. The Benz CLS has got its birth from the E class, whereas the Audi A7 has taken the design clues from the Audi A6. All of these cars come in between the upper class luxury cars and mid sedan luxury vehicle.

Talking about the styling first, both these cars look stunning but I feel while seen side to side the Audi a7 looks a bit dull. Both the cars have a sloping roof line which could be a problem for taller people. Audi A7 rear headroom is lesser than that of the Mercedes CLS. Audi A7 interior feel a little cheap with hard plastic on the dashboard and floppy rubber all inside the car. CLS has a better quality when it comes to the interior with use of premium things.

When coming to the ride quality the A7 leads with its Quattro system the handling is very good and the car remains stable when going on the corners at speed. One gets more confidence when driving the A7. But Audi has less power as compared to the CLS, Audi has a supercharged V6 which produces 310 horse power and the CLS Class has a twin turbo V8 engine with 402 horse power. One disadvantage which could be an advantage other also is that the CLS has four seats however the Audi has 5 seats. Still being heavier the CLS has the better power, the better handling; it has the best feeling on the brakes and also the best steering. The better car is the CLS in my opinion. But it all depends on you if you want better ride quality or better styling, 4 seats or 5 seats.
